Feedreader

I found a very hand tool that reads news from different sources - including this site. Download Feedreader. Once you have installed and started the programm, click on New Feed and enter the url http://vowe.net/index.rdf .
Other interesting feeds for german content are http://www.telepolis.de/news.rdf and http://www.heise.de/newsticker/heise.rdf .
Feedreader will sit in your Windows tray and alert you of news being posted to one of the active feeds. When you open Feadreader, you can read headlines and excerpts. If you double click the headlines it takes you to the news item.
Feedreader will inherit proxy settings from Internet Explorer. If you don't use IE then set your proxy in the Windows control panel.
