Öffentliche Bluetooth-Hotspots in Frankfurt

Na, da flattert mir doch heute eine nette Pressemitteilungen rein:

Palm Handheld Anwender erhalten zehn Freistunden fuer mobiles Surfen in vier Frazer-Coffeebars

Muenchen, den 26. November 2002 - Ab sofort kommen Besitzer eines Palm Handhelds in vier Frankfurter Frazer-Coffeebars, komfortabel ueber Bluetooth-Hotspots drahtlos ins Internet. Im Anschluss an die Einfuehrung von gleichartigen HotSpots in den Meyerbeer Coffeebars im Juni diesen Jahres, gibt es jetzt 14 oeffentliche Bluetooth-Punkte, die in Deutschland einen drahtlosen Internetzugang ermoeglichen.

Anwender von Palm Tungsten T Handhelds oder Palm Handhelds in Verbindung mit einer Palm Bluetooth-Karte, koennen in vier Frazer Coffee-Filialen das neue Angebot nutzen: Palm Bluetooth-Anwender, koennen sich bis zum 31.12.2002 auf der Seite http://promo.sofanet.info/promo/palm/ von Sofanetworks registrieren, und bekommen dann per Email einen Gutschein im Wert von 15 Euro fuer 10 Stunden freien Zugriff in allen Bluetooth-Cafes. Die genauen Standorte der Hotspots sind unter http://www.sofanet.de/hotspots zu finden.

Na, da muss ich doch glatt mal den Tungsten spazierenführen und einen auf ganz dicke Hose machen. :-)

Ist ja witzig. In Frankfurt machen vier neue Hotspots auf, dafür ist der überwiegende Rest auf der Liste offline. Zufall? Mangelnde Akzeptanz?

Finde ich auch merkwürdig. Vielleicht schreibt ja der Meister selbst was dazu?
