Find me on AIM as voweXXL
by Volker Weber

I think you cannot blame me for working exclusively with Lucy right now. :-)
OS X has a nice AIM client (iChat), therefore you may only be able to find me there and not on the other IM networks. I have already installed Fire which can be described as "open source Trillian for the Mac", but I currently try to work with the stuff that Apple provides to get a better grip on the machine.
If you use AIM, then you may want to install a buddy icon, which will show up instead of the yellow Ampelmännchen.

Try Proteus instead of iChat/Fire - It's the best ICQ/AIM/etc Client I can remember. http://www.indigofield.com/
Thanks, Boris. I need more input from MacHeads. :-)
I tried Proteus as a Yahoo IM replacement, and thought it was pretty good. Looks great, didn't randomly quit on me like Yahoo did, but be warned, Proteus is big on memory.
Damn,
the screenshot looks so nice that I had to close my Sametime Client immediately. If it would not be that expensive.
Thank you and Happy New Year
Regards
Heini
It is not that bad if you go for a 12" iBook or 15" iMac. Both can be had for around 1400 and they are worth it.
