Site design stable

In the last couple of days I tweaked the design a little bit here and there. With the new favicon and the background I consider it stable now. Then again, there is never a "final" version. But I am not putting up construction signs.
Urs: Windows screenshot, wink wink. :-) But I had to compare this to Lucy's rendering and found that I need to turn on anti-aliasing in Windows. Did that and found that Windows only anti-aliases the larger fonts. No surprise it looks better on the Mac.

was ich schon immer wissen wollte (und mich noch nicht getraut habe zu fragen), wie hast du dein super VOWE-Logo erstellt.

Wie ich das erstellt habe? Ich kann mich nicht mehr erinnern. Zum ersten Mal mit Corel Draw, erste Version. Später noch mehrfach mit anderen Werkzeugen von Xara über Raytracer, Bitmap-Editoren wie Paintbruch und Microangelo.

Es gibt eine schöne Webseite, die sich mit den favicons befasst.
Unter http://www.favicon.de findet man Tipps, Links zu ein paar Programmen (Michelangelo wird auch erwähnt) sowie Hinweise zum Einbau in die eigene Page.
There is also an English version http://www.favicon.com but I really prefer the german version as it is much better and the suggested program on the .com site did not work well for me.
Sorry aber die erwähnten Programme sind wohl w32 only.
