Alternative stylesheet
by Volker Weber
I am contemplating an alternative, barebones stylesheet for people who cannot read the current design and want the site to default to their browser settings. What do you think?

sounds like a good idea. your layout is very clean, so i'm guessing it would be pretty easy to do. i've been thinking about doing something similar since right now my fonts are fixed (in ie anyway) at a certain pixel size.
one more project to add to my growing heap... i think i'll be out of memory soon. :-)
I agree that this is a real good idea. Most of us, I think, are using CSS that specifies explicit fonts and spacing in pixels, which of course removes all control from the user. I've been seriously considering implementing something like the easy customization afforded to the user at this site: http://www.section508.gov/
In the Domino world, I'd probably handle this with javascript, cookies, some hidden fields maybe, and computed text within CSS. At my company we don't HAVE to conform with USA Section 508 accessibility regulations, but I think it's a good thing for all sites to consider.
