iLife '04 released today
by Volker Weber
If you are a heavy user of iPhoto or iMovie, then go and buy your copy of iLife '04 today. If you know how to play a piano, then get a midi/usb keyboard as well, if you don't have one already.

For me it's iPhoto 4. I have around 5500 photos that I just added to the library. iPhoto 2 was never designed to hold more than a few hundred photos. The new one is. It actually does not feel any different with thousands of photos than it did with just a few dozen.

I've ordered it a week ago. Why is stuff like this shipped on a CD? Given Apple's expert logistics, I'll likely have to wait to play around with GarageBand for a few weeks ...
i've been trying to see what's different with the "new itunes" as apple calls it on the ilife '04 page, is it a different version or is it still itunes 4.1x?
The version is v4.2 (72), which is the same as the version I have installed under Panther anyway. (See this thread: http://forums.macnn.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=197606#post1792374)
