Do you have marshmallow peeps in Europe?

by Esther Schindler

Here's something new to do with them: dueling peeps. From, I believe, the Washington Post. (Someone passed this along to me, so I don't have the link.)

You take two peeps, arm each one with a toothpick under where the left wing would be and set them face to face, about an inch apart of a microwave safe plate. You put the plate in the micro wave and turn it on. The Peeps swell in the heat to balloon status. Eventually, one Peep's toothpick lance bursts the other Peep and it collapses, leaving the victor puffed with pride.

Should this not be enough for you, you can visit the official Peeps site. God, the Internet has everything... even a Peeps fan page.

Comments

Don't know whether we have them. I have not SEEN them. Even plain white marshmallows are not very popular here. Putting them in a campfire is unheard of here. :-)
