Testing Groove 3.0 beta, part 2
by Volker Weber
[continued from part 1]

The Groove interface has improved a lot since version 2.5. What you see here is the dialog you get after selecting File/New/Workspace. Groove lets you select either an existing folder you would like to share with others, create a very basic workspace with discussion and files tool or you can select from a long list of more sophisticated applications.
Notes users think "templates". And Notes developers might find this image very familiar. What do you think?
Comments
Indeed! VERY familiar.
I would suggest they group elements in Groove in, let's say, shared code and shared resources. That would make it nice and tidy. And maybe they could include some kind of outline functionality ... ;-)
Agreed. And the terms “macro” is very ’90s... what about “agent” instead?
Seems they forgot the pages and the outlines.
Anybody tried to transform Domino DXL into something that Groove can digest?
