Na, da wünscht man doch 'nen schönen Urlaub!

Spooky! Pretty much exactly the time I'm going to be there as well, only one day later. I'm going to be on Arran, Islay and Colonsay though, probably quite unlikely that you'll make it there.

If you need any ideas where to go let me know, the offer still stands despite our earlier differences.

And you should definitely take up Mark Smith's invite, Trotternish on Skye is fantastic.

Yep - home made bread, maybe some freshly caught langoustines and some skye beer. Pity you'll miss this:

I hope you have a wonderful time in our beautiful city. Just before the Festival madness kicks in!

I already have a tremendous feedback. Thank you all, especially Nick, Frank, Mark and Armin. Armin has wonderful site with his own tours. It makes you wonder why he does not live there. :-) Mark, I will definitely take you up on your kind offer.

I have created a Quicktopic to keep all of those recommendations together. If you have anything to add from your own experience, I ask you to please do so. You can remain anonymous on Quicktopic or you can register and subscribe to the topic to be notified when something is added.

You pose an interesting question ;-) I even have an answer: Because I haven't got my act together yet to move up and because I've got a good job down here. But I've just bought a book that might change that within the next few years.

I'll add to your Quicktopic later, don't have enough time now.

Nice one!
Edinburgh is fantastic - lots of pubs, etc.. Shall make an effort to try and track you down there...!
