I have around 4000 hits a day on my news feed. But there is less than 500 on my comments feed. Let me tell you a secret — that's where the real action is:
CommentsIf your news aggregator is really smart and installs the feed: URL handler, then subscribe by clicking here.

What would your favorite RSS Reader be, that shows both feeds in context?

The Notes blog template BlogSphere generates rss feeds for comments as answers to the items in the main feed. That's very nice and e.g. SharpReader can display it. I've got no idea if this is possible in MT.
slightly off topic: is there a simple solution to get decent statistics on my news feeds? something like a referrer log?
