Oh yes, if there's one thing the British can pride themselves on it's the (poor) quality of our Pop Idol contestants. American Idol unearthed William Hung, but in the UK we had so many so-bad-they-were-great contestants that none of them had the chance to stand out. This guy wasn't the worst. The terrible thing is that he, along with his fellow failures, was better entertainment that the ones who could sing. Roll on the next series.
