TreoCentral brings us this image, taken directly from the Handango website which runs the palmOne webstore.

My guess is: One week from now.

They have Top Ten Downloads for a device not yet available? ;-)

Welcome to the world of marketing. ;-)

And what's your guess on when it's going to be available at the network operators, e.g. as an incentive for contract renewal?

No idea. Handspring was able to sign up a few US providers as you can see on the software updates page for the 600. This is however a very tedious business and Handspring was much to small to do this internationally. I would guess it may take up to a year to get all the specs* into a phone so being folded into palmOne gave Handspring more local ressources, but that was only less than a year ago.

*) I am not sure you want one of those. Special branding, disabling of features that do not force the user to spend money, etc. You know what they did to the SonyEricsson.

my Treo 600 is 11 month now, time for an update :-)
