I *was* kind of surprised when eBay announced they would no longer be using Passport. Now we know why ;-)
Only just spotted this. I have vowe dot net and slashdot open in adjacent tabs in Firefox (was looking fot that story about MS Passport). The favicons for vowe dot net and slashdot are remarkably similar, it is just that vowe dot net is more of a dot slash kind of thing (and has evidently been made by someone who understands dithering ;-)).
Or am I reading way too much into this?
Chris, the vowe logo is many years* older than Slashdot. I designed it without any inspiration. However, you will also find that the Warner logo has some resemblance to the W.
*) It is at least 13 years old, because I can see "prior art" in my office from 1992 when I look to my left.
