Sametime plugin for Trillian Pro 3.x

by Volker Weber

Sametime Plug-in for Trillian adds IBM Lotus instant messaging (Sametime) to the Trillian Pro instant messaging client. Trillian is a communications tool that manages connections to multiple instant messaging services. The Sametime plug-in allows Trillian users to connect to one or more Sametime servers, manage contacts, and conduct one-on-one or group chat sessions.

Version 1.1.2 adds support for Trillian Pro 3.x and an enhanced interface for adding users. Enhancements enable searching for a contact and setting a contact's display name when adding it.

Works here already perfectly with Gaim and the Meanwhile-plugin (tested on (Linux/x86/Debian).

I prefer the Sourceforge plug-in. Works perfectly here with Trillian 3 Pro and our company Sametime server.

I believe both Proteus X and Adium claim to support Sametime, too.

Does anyone know if there is a Sametime plugin for Miranda-IM?

Christian Tennigkeit, 2005-02-09 19:31

Does the IBM Sametime Plugin support the display of Sametime groups?

Note to self: No, it can't. In the IBM plugin you have to add each contact individually, just as in Jeff Thompson's.
Can anyone tell me a difference between the Sametime Plugin by Jeff Thompson (latest version I know of is 0.9.1.9) and the IBM one?
