Apple Airport Express no longer dropping off the network

It looks like Stefan had the right idea when he suggested I switch from DHCP to fixed IP addressing for the Apple Airport Express. Since I did that the AAX never lost its network connection again. Case closed.

Great! I need to do the same thing, but I am not a network guru. Can you help with the setup? I am able to get into Airport Utility and see the place where I need to put things in manually, but I am not sure what numbers I need to be putting in.
