Courtesy of digg.com: A chronicle of a crazy mom's eBay addiction. A son documents in pictures how insane his mother is with ebay buying. She has every single room in their house stacked to the ceiling with crap. Look at all the pictures — this is creepy!

There is a well known mental dissorder associated with storing things away like this. I don't recall it's name. It is much more commmon than you'd think, and is a real concern for us in the fire service as the fuel load in these homes is truly astounding and a search is nearly impossible.

Wow! Look at all the dust covering her stuff. I guess I would die in less than 5 minutes caused by house dust mite allergy symptoms.
Btw, my nose starts itching just by looking at the pictures ... :o)

In new-german such a person is called a "Messy" - i think, in english it's the same...

I believe it's OCHD, for Obsessive-Compulsive Hoarding Disorder.

I know someone who kept their house like this and had a fire. The firemen tried in vain to contain the fire but gave up and let the house burn to the ground.
