Anybody running Groupwise 7 ?
by Volker Weber
I am trying to find a screenshot. It is about as ridiculous as trying to get screenshots during Lotusphere. Novell is as stupified as IBM, that reporters might need a picture they can actually print.
This is what Novell has for us:

And here are IBM and Microsoft with their latest news.
Update: I found a bigger version of the same picture. Apparantly the product does not exist. Otherwise there would be more than one. ;-)
Update: It turns out the screenshot was well hidden. Behind a "Download as JPEG" there was a link to a *.jpg.bin file, which when unpacked revealed a *.bin file, which should have been named *.jpeg. After a bit of tweaking I was able to retrieve a 1400 pixel wide image, which btw still contained the Word status bar.

Oh well. The Microsoft picture actually would be fairly ok to use had they saved it as TIFF instead of a JPEG with visible lossy compression.
Did you notice the bottom line in the bigger picture? It's Microsoft Word...
Good find! That is sooo funny. Thanks, because we would have had that line in the paper as well. ;-)
Also if you traverse up, and look at the competitive information page, it only links to Exchange. This must mean they are afraid to compete with Domino.
if needed. I would install it under VMWare next week. Screenshots as big as needed are possible in JPG, GIF, Tiff, PNG, etc. in RGB or CMYk versions as well.
Danke, installieren hätte ich selbst gekonnt. Außerdem war meine Frist vom Typ "hallo Volker, kannst Du mal eben bis morgen früh ...".
