Lotus Dino
by Volker Weber
Dinos did not play well for Microsoft. IBM gives them a second chance.

Yeah, I was going to make a comment about this... nothing dispells the FUD-rich "Notes is Dead" stigma for the product than having a dinosaur on the first bit of printed marketing that I've seen in... well, it's been so long I don't remember!
Great job with the latest release of the product (but anyone else think it should've really just been a 6.75 release ;-) )
Ok, enough flaming from me for the moment...
What associations are they trying to create among customers? What's the message? "Hey, if you're still on Lotus, you're doomed. Move to Workplace/Websphere now!"?
I'll admit I'm not a huge fan of this ad's structure. But the other ad in the series rocks, as was discussed here on my blog after it ran in the Wall Street Journal.
*MUCH* nicer Ed! This I like, and it doesn't leave the door wide open for comments from the FUD-eaters.
