North American International Auto Show
by Ken Porter
While Volker and Ute are having fun in the sun, I was at the Detroit Auto show looking at some fantistic cars I will never own.
It is always hard to pick a favourite car, but the Camaro concept attracted alot of attention. It has this strange "Batmobile" feeling about it that no picture I have seen so far captures.
Personally, I feel in love with the Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren and with a MSRP of only $452,750 USD, I will probably never be this close to one again.
I've created a Flickr set of my pics from the show which I will be adding to over the next few days.

Amazing cars, but where are the girls? :-)
Maik, I think there were more girls when the show is open only for the press. I was there on an "Open to the public" day, so instead I got to see more police and bomb sniffing dogs than I did demo girls. However what pictures I did take, have been added to the flickr set. Some of them did not turn out as well as I had hoped.
