System requirements
WeatherDock is a Mac OS X Native application written in Cocoa / Objective-C. It requires a minimum of Mac OS X 10.3.0 (Panther) to function. It has been tested and run in Mac OS X 10.4 (Tiger).
WeatherDock requires an Internet connection to retrieve its weather information, this requires approximately a 10KB download every 30 minutes.
I don't have a Mac :O(
Well, we are talking about Photo Desktop and not about Weatherdock. Which still needs a Mac. You do too. Scratch two ZonePlayers, get one Mac. Or get both.
Ah, I just clicked on system requirements from the linked page...it took me to Weatherdock for some reason.
I have no use for a mac, I'll buy a photo frame :-D
Thanks for sharing! This is a great app!
This could be my excuse...darling, we need a mac so we can put photos on our desktop! Darn, I don't see that working! :(
Colin, you should give it a try. The first thing my girlfriend asked, when she saw it on my desktop was: "is this app also available for windows?"
If you can't afford a Mac, you may browse KDE-Look for a similar application/plugin. KDE can look great, it is free, and it runs on any ordinary computer with Linux. I have to say I like it better than my OSX Panther desktop and I'm not going to spend 200 CHF solely for a few desktop applets and spotlight.
(in case anyone cares, here's my current screenshot. It features superkaramba with various plugins)
plainly perfect for personalizing your deskop without having to change corporate image backdrops. :-)
