Keeping track of the World Cup
by Volker Weber
Germany 2006 is an application for managing the FIFA World Cup Germany 2006. With this program you can view the match schedule, save the final score, show both groups and second stage table, build statistics and you can also update the results on-line.
Freeware. Works on Windows, Mac and Linux.
Are you a football fanatic? Then Palm's got the perfect application for you. Football 2006 lets you keep tabs on all the teams, matches and scores day in and day out. And if you have a wireless Internet connection, you can keep the info updated in real-time.
Freeware. Works on Palm OS.

There is also a firefox plugin showing the results just in time. The name is Footiefox. Available from mozilla.org.
I don't know whether it runs on any plattform other than windows. But it integrates nicely into firefox.
Does anyone know an RSS / Atom feed which notifies about current results only? I only want a notification if a goal is scored and at the end of the first half and the end of the match. Any hints?
