Calgary is seeing similar temperatures. Last summer I hiked to a nearby glacier that I hadn't visited in a decade. It was once a great location for summer skiing, but it's diminished by 50% in those ten years. In another 15 it will be gone.

It was 13 degrees here (admittedly during the day) at one point. Crazy... this comes after a week of full-on central heating and nice fires in the evening. We're all doomed!

Oh, and Happy New Year :o)

It might be unseasonably warm where you are but its unseasonably COLD down here. Normally we'd be wearing t-shirts, shorts and jandals but for the last week its been thermals. As a last straw today (and after much debate I might add), we actually lit the fire!

In Vegas, it was colder....40 on the strip, 32 (0 C) at the house....

Uebrigens Klimakatastrophe: Alles Schnickschnack. IKEA reicht doch schon.

Entsprechend Happy new Year!
