Nice present in the mail today

by Volker Weber

... and it looks like nobody wanted to key in the tracks, so I had to do it myself. Submitted to CDDB now.

Obviously this CD is intended for the new European winter season in a convertible :-)

What, no "Peaceful Easy Feeling" by the Eagles? Don't fall asleep driving... ;->

Summer in the city? I think, tonight I will be watching "Die Hard: With a Vengeance" ... :)

Olav Brinkmann, 2007-01-17 18:11

What the hell is Billy Ocean doing in that list of songs....Ack!!!

Wow...short of buying a Mercedes (I'm partial to BMW), how do I get the CD? :-)

Jim Bernardo, 2007-01-17 20:56

How do you get it? Hmmh. Move to Germany and let Mercedes believe you would be interested in buying an SLK?

Mercedes has never been able to sell me a car. Each time I wanted one, they wanted to sell me a contract for a car to be delivered in three or four years. I told them to call me back when they sell cars instead of contracts. :-)

LOL... I actually used to LOVE Mercedes...I owned one, my father has owned several...but their overall quality in the last few years has really declined, IMHO, and I also think they're no longer, as they used to say, "engineered like no other car in the world." BMW, which I used to (snobbishly) think of as the poor cousin back in the early 80's, is now a much superior vehicle in terms of engineering, quality, and the fact that BMWs are built to be driver's cars, which I do not think Mercedes are...unless you're willing to pay a premium for the AMG mark.

Very true. I hear they are getting better again, but do not want to take chances. BMW has fallen a bit with the new Chris Bangle design, but again, they are getting better. A lot of people have moved to Audi. A4 and A6 stations are popular, especially with Diesel engines. Lots of torque and excellent mileage. Build quality is exceptional, better than BMW or Mercedes.

Too much Chrysler in Daimler/Chrysler?
