Free Exchange Account
by Volker Weber
Claude asked me yesterday if I knew of any free pushmail service. I did not. Today I found out about mail2web. They will give you a 1 GB mail account based on Microsoft Exchange. You can use ActiveSync with Microsoft's idea of a push service if your handhelds supports that. Only downside so far: You cannot set your from address or a reply-to:
Other than that, it just works. Very easy to set up on Windows Mobile handhelds.

Thanks for the hint Volker, I am going to have a look at it.
works on Nokia N-Series and E-Series as well (on E-Series like Nokia E61 with the free software "Mail for Exchange" from Nokia, on all Nokia Smartphones with Roadsync from Dataviz. Mail for Exchange version 1.3 works also on Nokia N80 etc.)
RoadSync is even free with the UIQ3 Phones (m600i,w950i&p990i so far)

Christian, we heard you the first time. ;-)
For $2/month, you get Enhanced Email and gain the "Ability to change the Primary From Address".
OK, that is not free anymore, but cheaper than other solutions!
sorry for the double post, my mac obviously was faster than i thought ;-)
i just booked for 1 month there, works like a charm. only bad point is that you cannot import a .pst file yourself. you have to send it by mail (!)
