Yeeehaa!

Seems to be a little overloaded in Germany at the moment - downloading a drm-free album is taking for ever!

@Christian Groß:
I could swear to have just copied and pasted that link... I wouldn't have posted it if I hadn't stumbled upon it...

@vowe:
Did you change the original link, or have I really been too stupid??? Or is there another explanation???

Yes, I did change the script which calculates the link.

Christian switched to the Posts tab from your link. I think this is a better landing page so I changed my code.

John, I've got the same problem here in Switzerland. Downloading Pink Floyd albums at 2.5KB/s isn't exactly fun. On the other hand, it's probably the only save mechanism left that stops me from buying the entire Pink Floyd collection.

@Philipp: I've still got 6 tracks (of 15) to go from the download I started shortly before I posted last night (OK - my computer was asleep today while I was at work, but even so...)

I hope it means EMI / Apple are making a killing and not that Apple's servers are screwed up. It would send a very clear message to the music industry if there is a masive demand!

As most of my articles roll off the front page rather quickly, I am making an archive of previous posts available here. You can also use the handy search box at the top of the page if you are looking for something particular.
