Approaching 75%
by Volker Weber
We are slowly inching towards 75% on Eileens fundraiser for the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Ireland.
A couple of interesting observations:
- Those, who gave big money for Eileen's and Paul's gifts, gave again.
- Some of those who did not even make it to Dublin are thanking with their money nevertheless.
- Those who insisted a free conference is a free conference ignored this campaign as well.
- The other organizers gave their "drinking money", Paul his Malta trip.
- Eileen still has no idea why we are doing this.
Well, I can help her with the last one. ILUG 08 will be huge. And there is no way that Paul can pull this off without a real manager. So we need to make sure that Eileen has no way saying no, when Paul asks her for help.
How does that sound for an evil master plan?

You're a good mother... evil, but good... :)
Its a pretty good evil master plan.. ;-)
Can I be your mini-me ?
;-)

Totally agree. Eileen made the event fly for all of us. She has no choice. Mind you, neither does, Bill, Warren, Kitty, Matt, Coatsie and your good self :-)
So true. But we only need to please Eileen. She will dominate you guys anyway. :-)
heh.... you are going to be dominated aswell sir.
And she still has no idea why you are doing this :-) but its appreciated. ILUG 2007 was a real team effort and everyone worked very hard, being bossy was the easy part as it comes naturally :-)
And miss the opportunity to boss Paul around and be a part of ILUG 2008? not a chance :-)
Eileen, are you still planning on taking me along with you in your backpack?
No Problem Alan, I'll see if I can find room for you and Fluffy :-)
Careful, Adam. Maybe she wants you to carry her backback. And whatever else she who must be obeyed wants. :-)
Sherpa Alan carrying my bags in Peru, now that is an idea I like :-) thanks Volker.
