Interesting enough, with around 25 MByte the size of the PPC version is about half the size of the equivalent Intel version.

Gee, patches in the future must be huge:

The intel package's larger footprint is caused by the fact that a lot of components are compiled as UB (containing both x86 AND ppc code).
The Intel update also incorporates more patches. Mostly related to hardware stuff...
