Could be the catholic church as well.
Second Life is all hype. Their PR folks do a very good job of getting people to write about it and to create some illusion of a huge and growing population, but I don't know anybody who actually spends time there. The one time I used it, I found it pointless, difficult to navigate and boring.
Didnt't someone say the same about the www, Damien? ;-)
