You'll love Numbers.

Sounds like Numbers is quite a culture shock after years of using Excel... I'll be interested to hear your findings...

I looked at it briefly and I am not impressed. I am not a heavy spreadsheet users and I do not intent to learn a new program.

For me iWork is Keynote. It suits my presentation style. I have not even adapted to Pages.

For iLife 08 Garageband is my primary app followed by iPhoto. Like Volker it's Keynote that I am anxious to review.

Pages I love, so intrigued by the new version. Garageband of course definitely rocks, so an upgrade I will go for. Intrigued also by Numbers, but not a heavy spreadsheet user. iPhoto is probably the #1 to look at for sure.

... And I used Keynote once for work. But don't tell them :)

Sneaky. Just like OmniGraffle instead of the "corporate standard". ;-)

You can give iWork '08 a spin for free by downloading a free 30 day trial at http://www.apple.com/iwork/trial.

According to the system requirements page, it runs on both Intel and G5/G4 based Macs.
