Up and down like a whore’s drawers.
(As my aged grandmother would say).
As of 18:00 PST still nada.
I'm still out. It's been up momentarily a few times throughout the day.
Ben - If that one statement is any indication of your grandmother's sayings, then I think you just found another great use for DominoWiki. :)
My own personal favorite is Skype, just because it works. Everywhere and every time.
it´s back now, also for asia. but volker seems to sleep now :-)
@ Henry, LOL Indeed. I did think twice about posting that, but I figured we’re all grown-ups here :o)
Skype connection might be better than yesterday but still far from usable.
I made my calls this morning using Gizmo project, you can also use it to make audio calls to GTalk subscribers.
Still no Skype connections from cologne...
Still out here too :-(
Still dead in Switzerland.
It is working now here
nope :-(
Dead in London still. Ouch, that must be some screwed-up algorithm.
Interestingly this Skype SNAFU shows how quickly we become dependent on technologies and rely on them for our day-to-day lives.
Makes you really wonder...
oh, and as I am on it, reading the link provided by Ben and learning about the data-base problems reminds me that a few times in the last weeks I had to add some entries back to my Skype contact list, Volker being one of them.
Same thing actually happened to Google GMail beginning this week.
Is this perhaps a sign that keeping a database secure with millions of entries is not a trivial task?
It´s dead again :-(
I can log on occasionally, but the connection is instable. This will probably take some more time to fix, see the Heartbeat for status updates...
Reminds to my check with Skype about the status of my already paied SkypeIn account...
let´s think about business continuity ... still not available again in asia.
Dead in Africa... but that's nothing new.
It's the dark continent after all. :-)
still some problems
