Der neue Web-2.0-Suchdienst oSkope ermöglicht nun, auch online zu stöbern, wie man es einst in der Buchhandlung konnte. die Bücher werden in Stapeln, Reihen oder im Stil eines Wühltisches präsentiert. Das gesamte Sortiment etwa von amazon lädt zum Stöbern ein.

Nettes Technologieexperiment, aber m. E. komplett nutzlos. Oder wählt wirklich jemand ein Buch danach aus, wie das Cover aussieht?
Man wählt es wohl nicht nach dem Cover aus. Aber Cover, Titel, Autorennamen, Klappentext - das sind die Catcher. Das Stöbern gegenüber dem thematischen oder an Schlüsselworten angehängten Suchen ist hier IMHo das Interessante.
die Kombination machts doch erst oder?
Und schon bricht der Service -- zumindest in Richtung eBay -- unter der Last des Ansturms zusammen. :-)
