Haven't seen this - we'll have a look. Are you seeing this menu behavior in other sideshelf plug-ins?

No, I don't. I think it is related to something TwitNotes 1.0.1 does. I only happened after I upgraded from 1.0. There are also other things appearing and disappearing in the UI.
I find it quite alarming, that a plugin can do that.
Probably requested by the White House as a condition to switch back to Notes. In general, they like "erase" and "delete" type features. :)
Perhaps they also manage porting this typical Notes feature back to the Windows platform. ;-)
I see EXACTLY this and reported similar behavior to the Beta forum.
Also when I have TwitNotes open (1.0.2) I get redraw issues on the rest of the screen that go away when it is closed.
I'm beginning to think its a Java problem...but I don't know where to look.
