When ILUG and DNUG are not enough

So we have the ILUG and DNUG conferences at exactly the same date. That does not mean that IBM could not squeeze another event targeted at the same audience into the very same week.

That's...interesting. I'll be at the DNUG one, as I've committed to a fairly substantial role in it this year.
I think ILUG is better value for money...
So, some IBM employees need to fly to Europe once and "hop around", I presume.
Lars - to me, DNUG is a much better value for the money. They're paying me to be there which makes it by definition a most excellent value. I'm going to try to learn enough German to order dinner and make my way to and from interesting places by then (though I wouldn't expect to hear any from me in a tech talk).

There is more stuff than conferences you can pay large amounts of money for in Amsterdam. The Dutch have an interesting way to either make things legal or look the other way if it's not legal. Very laid back.
