Is it ISO/IEC 29500 compliant ? ;-P

Most important change for mac users: OpenOffice.org 3.0 will be the first version to run on Mac OS X without X11, with the look and feel of any other Aqua application.

Yay to OOo without X11! Now only The Gimp is left on my wishlist to get really ported.

I somehow knew Chris was going to ask that? ;-)

Would be interesting to know IBM's plans for Symphony... Will they port OOo2 or go straight to OOo3? I hope the latter...

Totally awesome! Stops shortcut-brain-switching-sickness on the spot.

@Sascha: Gimp is in the works, also. Already available as a native Beta, if you mind looking.

@Roland: Help me out. I hope that you don't want to point me towards Seashore as a The Gimp replacement with a native UI. Seashore only provides the most basic manipulation possibilities.

Hi, Sascha. Take a look here:

http://gimp-app.sourceforge.net/

Maybe you need to run the binary inside the package to make it start up.
