Early impressions of the Mac 8.5 client once the download finally finished...
Much faster. more responsive. Impressed so far. Initially had some strange problems with input focus but these seem to have gone away. Lots of new preferences options that I havnt even begun to look at.
Top tip - you cant install over the old Mac 8.5 beta. You must remove the old installation first before installing the new beta1.

Thanks Andy, same experience here. It does keep your client settings though. Just drag the Notes.app to the trash, then install from the new beta.
