This program alone is reason enough to jailbreak the iPhone

OK. that app is enough to go *buy* and iPhone :-)
I always loved how the loan/financial one (12c) was bronze/gold tinted.
Why doesn't the author place this program on the App Store. I certainly would by it !
You will have to ask Apple:
* 09-Mar-2008 - Calculators are now built using the SDK and running in the simulator... Still waiting for Apple to approve my registration so I can test on a real phone and distribute them in June.
Apple seems to be very heavy handed. Since they pulled NetShare, everybody should have realised that the iPhone needs to be jailbroken.
the next step would be to ban the iPhone official in university exams ;-)...
RPN on a phone. Splendid! Does there exist a version for Symbain (E90) ? would be great.
Official RPM Calcs (not HP though) would be accessible via Appstore. I have made good experience with pcalc, OSX Dashboard Version is available as well. >> more Info.
Sorry, no 48SX / 48GX :-(
The 12c is one of my favorite pieces of technology ever. What other gadget can you think of is still sold over 25 years after its introduction virtually unchanged and for almost the same price (of course after inflation it is much less expensive today). I used it when I was an analyst at a bank 17 years ago and still break mine out on a regular basis. Those original batteries were working until recently too!.
Where to get this App? Must have...
Ludwig, don't know about E90, but 3GR Technologies sells some nice apps for Windows (Mobile). For S60 check out the very basic and superfast Calcium. It also has an RPN mode, but no scientific functions. There is also a midp RPN calculator, but I can't remember that one.
Thomas, when you jailbreak your iPhone you get Cydia, the graphical APT frontend. You select HPCalc from there and your iPhone installs the app.
@Ludwig: Calcium has a RPN mode. It misses some features compared to an 11C though.
Volker, Ole: thanks will give it a try immediatly!
