Nintendo launches DSi
by Volker Weber
So why was it, that the iPod touch does not have a camera. Or two?
Comments
no date on the availability outside Japan ... so is it really a launch? :)
seriously, they didn't go with two touch screens, removed the GBA compatibility (and lost the Guitar Hero functionality) and the cameras are pretty low quality.
Will they get people to upgrade? should be interesting to watch
more info:
In addition, Nintendo of America offered up the following Nintendo DSi details:
- Expanding on past mentions of increased audio functionality, the DSi sports a louder volume than previous DS models.
- On-board camera software will let users distort pictures and decorate them with graffiti, as well as instantly share pictures with other DSi owners.
- Owners can create a Daily Diary using pictures.
- Songs use AAC format.
- Users can fast-forward through songs and recordings, as well as record their own voice and distort pitch.
- Brain Age will be the first downloadable game.

I want one.
Guess the games are backward compatible, so I can wifi play with my existing DS?
