Google announces hardware partners for Chrome OS

by Volker Weber

What companies is Google working with to support Google Chrome OS?

The Google Chrome OS team is currently working with a number of technology companies to design and build devices that deliver an extraordinary end user experience. Among others, these companies include Acer, Adobe, ASUS, Freescale, Hewlett-Packard, Lenovo, Qualcomm, Texas Instruments, and Toshiba.

That's about everyone.

Everyone but Dell. Looking at the list I would not associate many of those names with "extraordinary end user experience".
But I am really waiting for something that let me do my work faster. If Chrome OS is able to put an end to the usual Click and Wait experience then it will be very successful.

Maybe "among others", Robert. :-)
