At 519 mA, the battery would be dead in 2 hours. Memory usage is well below the 512 MB physical memory. A Palm Pre w/o Plus would already be using swap. That's what makes the Pre Plus faster. The Uberkernel Default looks safer, doesn't peak with high mA, but isn't as blazingly fast.

Nice! My N900 is running stable at 950 MHz, becoming unstable at 1GHz after some time (e.g. playing videos for 15 Minutes).
Good luck with your Pre (same CPU), it's a little hit and miss, depending on the quality of your CPU.

I can take it down to 800 if needed. Also, it won't overheat since there is a governor for that.

I've been running with this kernal at 1ghz for about two weeks. Battery life on my Pre has been quite good (owing to the screen state setting dropping the CPU back down to 500mhz when the display is turned off) and the temps have been held at bay as the device will also drop back down to 500mhz if the temp rises too high. I can kill a fully charged battery after about an hour of playing Angry Birds at 1ghz however. ;-)

I am back to 800 MHz. The notification area wasn't working any more.
