49 threats
by Volker Weber

Since everybody seems to be talking about Mac malware these days, I decided to run a scanner on a machine that has been upgraded all the way from Mac OS X 10.2 to 10.6. The disk content has accumulated over 8.5 years. 1.6 million fiiles.
Result: Sophos found 49 threats. All of them Windows malware attached to spam and phishing emails. Not a single one would have been able to execute on a Mac.
I can live with that. Goodbye, Sophos.
