tizi 2.0 ist noch mal besser

Ich bin bekanntlich ein großer Fan von tizi. Das ist ein kleiner DVB-T-Empfänger mit Wifi-AP. Damit kann man unterwegs mehrere Stunden lange das Fernsehprogramm auf dem iPhone, iPad oder iPod touch schauen. Jetzt gibt es eine neue Software, und mit der kann man das tizi in das Heimnetzwerk einklinken. Früher ging immer nur der "richtige" AP mit Internet oder der tizi-AP. TV oder Internet. Jetzt wird tizi zum Wifi-Client. Er nutzt damit das gleiche WLAN wie man selbst. Und über das Netz kommt man ans Fernsehprogramm und das Internet.
Damit ist tizi auch zu Hause prima nutzbar. USB-Netzteil anschließen und tizi einschalten. Und wenn man ein Programm schauen will, einfach die tizi-App auf dem iOS-Gerät starten - tizi ist schon da. Achtung, das geht immer nur mit einem Gerät.
Wenn nur der DVB-T Empfang in Darmstadt besser wäre.

Ich habe mir nach deinem Ratschlag ja das tizi gekauft und bin begeistert. Nicht nur funktioniert es auf dem iPhone (4) und dem iPad (1) sehr gut und ohne Ruckler - mit der neuen Version ist es noch viel einfacher geworden, das Gerät zu nutzen.
Anfangs hatte ich noch einige kleinere Probleme mit der Mac-Version. Der Support war sehr freundlich und schnell und hat mir sogar eine interne Beta-Version geschickt um zu testen, ob meine Probleme damit behoben werden konnten: Ja, konnten sie.
Super Verarbeitung, angemessener Preis, hohe Qualität, klasse Support. Ich bin sehr zufrieden. Danke vowe und danke equinux!
Tizi @ home hat mich auch begeistert. Laut Support ist die Unterstützung für den Mac auf der Roadmap.
Für den kleinen Nerd auf jeden Fall die bessere Anschaffung als ein zweiter Fernseher.
Für alle Freunde des tizi ist übrigens mit the Tube 2.10.2 jetzt auch tizi@home am Mac möglich.
Wenn das Kästchen im WLAN hängt können dann alle Macs und iOSen abwechselnd drauf zugreifen.
