Interesting shirt. :-)

Jan, funny, it was something that caught me as well ;)
But regarding Marko, he seems to be such a nice and competent person. Noticeably he is one of not so many 'old' Nokians still there. There is a reason for that.

Hubert Stettner, 2012-11-22 22:36

You have to read up on Marko. He has been away from Nokia to work on two startups.

Volker Weber, 2012-11-22 22:38

He has quit?

Christian Just, 2012-11-22 23:17

No, that was before he became head of all Nokia design.

Volker Weber, 2012-11-22 23:19

Interesting and this ductus reminds me of someone. ;)

I was wondering how Apple would have made that video - if they had come up with the Lumia design. Which I guess is a "not in a millions years" thought.

What would Johnny say?

I think the result would be a talk about precision and process and engineering and quality.

Marko talking... he makes the device so personal and organic. There is no focus on weight or speed, it's all feel and living with the device.

Sure makes me want one...... I have an Lumia 800 and an iPhone 4. Of the 2 - the Nokia feels lovely in the hand in comparison to the iPhone. I'd bet a beer that the 920 feels so much better than that.

Ian Bradbury, 2012-11-23 14:42

You owe me a beer. The 800 feels better than any other phone, including the 920.

Volker Weber, 2012-11-23 14:45

No way. Really.

I so prefer to hold the 800 over my iPhone. But I have issues with WM7. It just feels so unfinished. I'm hoping that the update (God knows when that will arrive) will improve the use.

Next time you're in London.... I'll buy you a proper beer.

Ian Bradbury, 2012-11-24 18:49

Ian, the update shouldn't be too far out. My guess is: this year. I am holding on to one Lumia 800 to test it.
