Good night lamp

by Volker Weber

That's a great idea. And I will build it with WeMo. As soon as I have more switches.

What a strange idea. Looks like in the future verbal communication between couples are a waste of time. Maybe I'm too old fashioned for this.

I don't get it either. Don't we have other communications devices that can convey more information than "on/off"?

Maybe this is to be seen along the lines of S01E09 of The Big Bang Theory where the guys have set up their lights and stereo to be controlled via the internet. When Penny asks "why", the obvious answer is "Because we can".

No, really: Why? Trying to save phone charges by using morse code with this thing?

Joerg Michael, 2012-11-27 20:32

Gegenfrage: wozu dient der "Available" Status bei Instant Messaging?

Volker Weber, 2012-11-27 20:34

Genau dazu!

Joerg Michael, 2012-11-27 20:41

Volker Weber, 2012-11-27 20:43

Schöne neue Welt? Shiny (sic!) new world? Nee Danke.

Alper Iseri, 2012-11-28 09:33

Orly?

I don't see the point in this.

But that doesn't matter. Let the market decide..

Johannes Matzke, 2012-11-28 10:34

Klasse Idee.
