Update your Plantronics Voyager Legend
by Volker Weber
These days everything gets updates. That's both a good and a bad thing. On the plus, the product improves, on the minus you have to take care of a zoo of devices. Today I found out that Plantronics now has a Mac updater, and I connected my Voyager Legend. I was down three releases. Here are just three items from the release notes:
- Improved functionality with iPhone 5s and iOS7
- Improved audio quality for both narrowband and wideband calls
- 4x-improved wind noise reduction

Thanks for sharing! You are absolutely right: it's quite an effort to keep things ("Elektrozoo") up to date. Sometimes less is more but I can't always stick to that rule ;-)
Thank you. Updated from version 44 to version 99. Sounds like a big jump :)
Released wurde nur die 93. ;-)
Danke!
Thanks Volker, one of those things you never think of doing, and like Oliver I'm updating from 44 to 99.
After Reading this article as one of many from vowe saying that this Headset is good, I ordered one online.
It actually comes with version 44 and a piece of paper which tells you to upgrade before you use it.
After approx. 5 minutes I killed the midsize earpiece as I wasn't clever enough to figure the lock mechanism out.
I send a short email to the Plantronics support and after about 10 minutes 3 free replacement earpieces were send on the way by a very friendly support agent.
So now I have a great headset and know that their customer service is splendid.
Buying with vowe was so far a good choice. :)
