Converting Android apps into Windows Universal apps

by Volker Weber

Microsoft wants to make us believe that it is almost zero effort to turn an Android app into a Windows Universal app. Here is your challenge, Microsoft:

You have been working on a Sonos controller for years, and have been testing it internally for months. How about you make it work and release it? Maybe as a public beta? As a universal app of course.

Should be a piece of cake, right?

Hehe, gut, Volker. In their face 😁

According to this, it should be a matter of *minutes* 😇

Submerged my 6+ on the second day I had it. Quickly taking it out of the water and sure enough it was ill-behaving. Put it in a bag of rice for two days and it recovered.
Still using it for Sonos even though I prefer their hardware controller above all. I get it, it was too expensive but would let the customers decide if they want to pay the premium. Oh well. At least that platform is still supported by Sonos. ;-)
