Apple Stealth Watch

Just started using a Space Black Apple Watch with a black sports band instead of the more flashy Stainless Steel with Milanese Loop. And I love the stealth look.

Got inspired on Thursday? ;-)

This is the model I have. The trouble is that so few straps suit the black case.

Recently I bought one of these.

I was very dubious, thinking the quality would be very poor. But I was really surprised. The strap feels great and I feel the visual differences to the much more expensive Apple original do warrant the price difference. Yes the Apple leather is lovely, but I didn't really worry about that.

Federico, I had this coming for two weeks.

Ian, I like this band more than any of the leather bands. Black Milanese might also work.

The milanese is so lovely to look at and touch. I just could never justify the price.

Yes. Black Milanese would be great. I use the black leather loop until then. I like the possibilities to micro-adjust the length of the band throughout the day. Sometimes longer, sometimes shorter. But that is just me.

I ordered one of the black stainless steel Milanese bands through Amazon (Riega brand, $18) for my black Apple Watch Sport and I like it. It is also available in silver stainless steel, yellow gold, and rose gold. It is comfortable, stylish, and lightweight.

Mich würde mal interessieren, wie empfindlich (robust) ist das Gehäuse der Space Black Apple Watch im Vergleich zur Edelstahl Version (Kratzer) im alltäglichen Einsatz?
Welche Version bevorzugt vowe?

Christian Hirth, 2016-08-21

Nicht empfindlich. Ich bevorzuge die Edelstahl, weil damit mehr Bänder passen. Wer nicht auffallen will, sollte die Sports in Dunkelgrau mit dem schwarzen Band nehmen.
