Andale Mono

The font formerly known as Monotype.com.

I love this font, when it comes to writing an article. It is so easy to spot typos. Easy on the eyes and generally nice looking.

This is not your font someone called Steve matteson made this font if you do not remove this I will report you to copyright!!!

LOL! Who are "copyright" anyway?

Jenna, don't worry. I am not assuming that this is my font. (Actually this copy is MY font and I am keeping it.) The "Download here>" link points to Microsoft. And they have chosen to no longer make the font available for download.

But Ben has raised an ineresting question. What do you think who is "the copyright" and what number are you going to call? That might come in handy once in a while.

Microsoft has pulled the page. Now download here >

Who the hell is Ben? I presume by the use of LOL you don't understand the rules of design. Any good designer (including font designers) copyright their designs. thus the use of the word copyright. there are several numbers you can call to get information on this subject (as i don't know the numbers in your area) your best bet is to do a search online. The only reason I bought up the subject is I am doing a research study on the font and its origins. By writing Andale Mono by Volker Weber at the top of your web site you are being missleading.

I understand what you mean. In this context it does not mean that I designed Andale Mono. It says that I wrote this article about this font. Feel free to look at the rest of the site and you will understand.

if you are interested to know who Ben is, click in his name.

Even funnier! ROFLMAO. I'll leave it to Volker to explain if he's so inclined... but I reckon you just must be a troll or something. no-one's that daft ;-)

Thanks Volker. Ben What do you mean daft?? like i said his page title was missleading in a search. And there are many people out there who rip off designs etc.. to make money. I would like to think that if someone noticed somebody trying to rip off one of my own design's that they would tell me. designers should stick together on stuff like that.:-(

Interesting article on Steve here:

Re "daft", Volker has already explained more eloquently than I.
