I am scared ...

"hell froze over" sums it up nicely

steve on a dell, itunes on windows, partnership with AOL; could that day have been any weirder? ;)

Why's partnership with AOL weird?

Exhibit One: AOL, in its early days, was very close to Apple
Exhibit Two: iChat uses AOL IDs

Love the photo though: Jobs on a Dell. Heh!

And what about the deal with PepsiCo. Jobs hires Sculley from PepsiCo. Sculley fires Jobs. Sculley leaves Apple. Jobs comes back. Jobs makes deal with PepsiCo :)

Jobs used to have a PC in the last days of NeXT running NeXTStep. He probably had a PC at Pixar too.

I think it's time for Apple to "push" the fact that OS X is really 'Unix' then it can get the Unix/Linux wonks to come over and build applications. The number of Mac apps is still exceedingly small. I miss the Mac - I last developed on in it back in '90 using MPW & MacApp - anyone remember those?...

For sure SBC, do you remember the leisure soft like Dark Castle and Beyond Dark Castle ... geez that was great and hot stuff ... all in b&w :-))

Don't forget Lemmings and Spacestation Pheta ;-)

Humm but these are color ... remember load runner and gato the sub simulator :-))

True: everything was black and white on my old Mac Classic though ;-)

Ah yes, a 9" screen... and one of the most useful machines I've ever had!

well.. the announcement that itunes was going to windows came a very long time ago.. and its naive to think that because steve used a dell means that apple might be conforming in any aspect.. i think of it this way.. apple is slowly seeping into the competition's market and showing them how real programs work =)

ipod on pc.. needed itunes. musicmatch jukebox was the biggest pos when i helped my buddy set up his ipod for a pc.

Matt, you may want to read here:

- Goodbye MusicMatch
- Pot, kettle, black?
- Stop calling for law enforcement - start selling

Don't forget, Micheal Dell is introducing his own music site store in the future. He could use this caption: 'Dell's music store is so good that the CEO of Apple Computer Steve Jobs uses it!' Hey, That'll gain some hits.

Player 16 - [edited by vowe]. Jobs wasn't using any service of Dell's just using a PC to show the rest of the world what they have been missing and invite them over.

As i said 'Micheal Dell is introducing' not 'Micheal Dell has introduced'!
