Easily $5000 in damage. Best way out of something like this ... a shovel. Duh!
I know ... I live on a farm and I've even got my tractor stuck in snow drifts (and my snowplow). Trying to pull a car with a tow band like that ... stupid. If you're gonna pull something out, you do it with a winch.
All I can say is... ouch!
Most of all, cars do have little hooks underneath the bumpers to which you should tie the tow band, this looks like they simply tied the hook to the bumper itself... Especially with those plastic bumpers nowadays not at all a good idea.
But fun to watch anyway,
