I have very basic access to the internet via the Treo or the XDA2. Can you please help me with URLs of PDA-friendly sites? Heise has an excellent newsticker in this format that I already bookmarked. I am looking for world news, German news and Scotland weather. :-)

hey - Welcome to Jockoland. And the weather suddenly got better when you arrived! Skye is great fun - you *have* to go to a dance to enjoy the insanity. If your in Portree on Saturday, go to the Royal hotel and say Hi! to the guy playing the violin in the bar - thats my father.. (You'll recognise him, believe me!)

Enjoy the scenery and avoid the midgies (the small biting flies - they hover near open water or near trees..)

Thanks, Bill. I am sorry we will miss your father by a day. We shall be in the Outer Hebrides then. Thx for your text. A'deen is not on the plan yet. Will let you know when that changes.

We have a ton of new pics waiting for a chance to be uploaded.

Interesting observation: If you have cloudy skied, some sun and maybe one or two showers in the area, then Weather.com forecasts rain, light rain or showers, while BBC forecasts partly cloudy. So far, so good, we still have to get qet.

More than a hundred pics waiting to be uploaded but I am still on GPRS with the Treo, currently on Skye.

On Skye, the weather can be quite different as little as 10 km away. Hopefully you can upload your pictures tomorrow on my ISDN line :-)

I looked at the album this morning. There were 76 pictures, many very nice (though only one of you and none of Ute, very unusual for your photos). As I was clicking through, it went to 80 total pictures, and then 85, and so on.
I'll wait until you are finished uploading ;)
